Shaped by Flame
This is the result of my dedicated craftsmanship and the intense heat of 1300°C. Through this technique, I express my deep connection with the material and the elemental energy of the wood-fired kiln.
Elemental Surface
The complex texture and natural glaze are thanks to the ash flowing within my kiln’s atmosphere. This ensures that every single piece I create is unrepeatably unique.
Wood-Fired Firing
The wood-fired, high-temperature firing technique is a special method I use to fire my ceramics. These vessels are unrepeatable, unique objects. I fire for 14 hours under the open sky, heating the kiln with wood up to 1300°C, where the ash within the kiln’s atmosphere “draws” the patterns onto my vessels. For me, this is an elemental experience, artisanal craft, and a renewable energy source.
